How to Manage Your Amazon Account

Managing your Amazon account allows you to set up or update your billing address, payment options and subscriptions. This will allow you to quickly purchase any items on Amazon that you would like to buy. In order to manage your Amazon account settings, you must first log in to your account and access the "Your Account" page. You can update your account and manage your options in around 10 minutes.

Instructions

1. Turn on your computer and load up your Internet browser. Enter "www.amazon.com" in to the address bar and go to the website.

2. Move the mouse cursor over to the link "Your Account" on the top right-hand corner of the screen. Click on the link. This will take you to an account screen where you can log in.

3. Enter your email address and password for your account on the far right-hand side of the screen. Click on "Sign In" once you have entered your details. This will take you to your main account homepage.

4. Click on "Manage Address Book" underneath the "Address Book" tab on settings. Check that the billing address you have for your account is correct. If you need to update the address, select the "Enter a New Address" button at the top of the page. Proceed to enter the new details of the address and click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

5. Return to your main account page. Click on "Manage Payment Options." This will give you a list of all the different payment methods that are registered to the account. If any of them are out of date, you can remove them by selecting the "Delete" button next to the information. To add a new payment option, you must select "Add New Payment Option." This will take you to a new page where you can enter the details.

6. Enter your card details, expiry date and account name for the card. Once you have entered these details, you must select an address from your address book. Once you have determined which address you want to use for the card, select "Use This Address" above the address.

7. Return to your main account page and select "Manage Your Kindle" at the bottom of the page on the "Digital Content" section. This will give you a look at all of the books that you have purchased from Amazon. If you do not have a Kindle registered to your account, enter the 16-digit number of the settings of your Kindle into the serial number box on the Kindle account page. Click on the "Register a New Kindle" button in order to link it to your account.
