Instructions

      Lay a towel on the palm of your left hand and place the clam on this towel. The seam opening should face your thumb.

      Insert a thin knife into the tightly closed seam of the clam.

      Twist the wrist holding the knife like you are turning a screwdriver clockwise. The blade will pry the shell open so that you can remove the clam.

      Remove the top half of the clam shell.

    • 5

      Slide the knife under the clam to cut the muscle away from the shell. Remove the clam and enjoy.
