How to Wrap Tea Candles

Tea light candles are beautiful gifts to give to someone who needs some calming in their life.

Nothing makes a better relaxing or get well gift than tea light candles. Tea light candles help add calmness to a room with the glow they produce and sometimes release soothing aromas into the air of a home or room if they are scented. However, when giving tea light candles as a gift you want to make sure you wrap them up properly so they do not become crushed.

Things You'll Need

• Tissue paper
• Tape
• Gift bag

How to Wrap Tea Light Candles

1. Lay 3 tissue papers onto a table one on top of another. This creates thickness with the tissue paper so it is not see through and provides more protection to the tea light candles.

2. Place the tea light candles carefully in the center of the tissue paper and fold the ends of the tissue paper into the middle where the candles are like you were folding a letter that needs to fit in an envelope. Take the 2 ends you have left and fold them inward towards the center of the candles and tape down well with a piece of tape.

3. Line the gift bag with 2 sheets of tissue paper and place the tissue paper wrapped candles into the bag and than crumple up some more tissue paper and place it inside the bag on top of the candles. The tea lights are then gift wrapped properly and ready to give to a loved one.

Tips & Warnings

• Use different colors of tissue paper to make the wrapped tea light candles look bright and colorful.

• Wrap no more than 10 tea lights together at a time or they will become crushed.

• If tea light candles come in a box wrap the box up in tissue paper with the tea light candles in it and place it into the gift bag the same way.

• Never store wrapped tea lights in a car on a hot day because they will melt.
