How to Remove Picasa From My Computer
Picasa is a photo management program developed by Google. It provides you with a speedy interface with which to sift through pictures on your system; you can also perform basic photo editing. This freeware application also lets you upload photos to Google's Picasa Web Album service, which offers free storage space for pictures. Remove Picasa from your computer if you prefer using another photo management software, or to solve errors that may occur within the program.

Click the Start menu and click on "All Programs."

Click on the "Picasa" folder in the Programs list. Click "Uninstall" to bring up the Picasa uninstaller.

Click the "Uninstall" button. When the uninstaller asks you if you want to delete the Picasa database, select "No" if you plan on reinstalling Picasa later. If you do not plan on reinstalling Picasa, click "Yes."

Click "Finish" to remove all Picasa program files and libraries from your computer.

You can also uninstall Picasa from the "Uninstall a Program" section of the Control Panel.
Back up any important photos before uninstalling Picasa.
