Instructions

    • 1

Look for a fresh or silk flower of your choice. Or, select up to three small flowers if you want to create a wide, grandiose wrist corsage. Fresh flowers are useful for natural adornments if you only plant to wear the corsage once. If you're planning on keeping the corsage long term, an artificial flower is ideal.

    • 2

Snip the stem from the flower or flowers you have selected. Leave only 1/2 inch of stem.

    • 3

Wrap a 4-inch length of florists tape around the protruding stem of the flower. If you are using three flowers for your corsage, bundle the stems together and wrap the tape around them all at once to keep the flowers in place.

    • 4

Squeeze a dot of hot glue onto the center of the tape-covered stem area.

    • 5

Affix the glued side of the stem firmly to the top center of a wrist band. Use an elastic band or even a chunky bangle bracelet for a fashionable touch. Or, attach the floral piece to a dainty tennis bracelet if you choose.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add finishing touches with optional embellishments. For example, tie a long length of silk ribbon into a bow around the rest of the flower stem. This adds a long, flowing addition to the wrist corsage.
