How to Make Announcement Cards for Free

Announcement cards are used for special events in a person's life, such as weddings, graduations, pregnancy, birth and moving events. These cards are used to keep the people in your life aware of these events. Create an announcement card for free by using templates available in your computer software or from Web site template galleries. Microsoft, Google Documents and Print With My PC Web sites offer these free announcement card templates.

Instructions

Word 2010

1. Click the "File" tab and select "New." Type "Announcement" in the search box. Review the matching announcement card templates. Download the card by clicking the card and the "Download" icon.

2. Highlight the default card text. Type your announcement details to replace the default text.

3. Save the changes by clicking the "Save" icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.

Google Documents

1. Access the Google Documents Web site. Type "Announcement" in the search box. Change the search box to "Public Templates." Review the matching announcement card templates and download it from the "Use This Template" icon.

2. Highlight the default card text. Type your announcement details to replace the default text.

3. Save the changes by clicking the "Save" icon on the main menu.

Print With My PC

1. Access the Print With My PC Web site. Click the "Announcements" hyperlink. Select the type of announcement card you are desire by reviewing the matching templates.

2. Click the announcement card that you plan to use. Highlight the default text on the card and type your personalized announcement message.

3. Click the "Print" button to print the personalized announcement card.
