Click "Add/Remove Windows Components." Locate Internet Explorer 6 on the list displayed and remove the check mark next to it. Click "Next" and it will be uninstalled. Click "Finish" when it is done.

Download Internet Explorer 6 from the Old Version site (oldversion.com/Internet-Explorer.html). Choose the option to save it to the desktop and double-click the file on the desktop to begin the re-installation process. Follow all prompts to complete the re-installation and reboot the computer when it is done.
