How to View Someone's Bio in Twitter

Twitter puts its primary focus on the content of tweets with features like searching and hashtags, but a user's Twitter bio can also include important information. User bios, which display in people search results and on profile pages, are limited to 160 characters but can still reveal a lot about what a Twitter stream might contain. You can view other users' bios on their profile pages and edit your own bio in your Account Settings, under the "Profile" tab.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to Twitter.com and log in to your account.

    • 2

Locate the user whose bio you want to view. If you follow the person, click your "Following" link and scroll down until you see the user. If you don't follow the person, enter the username into the search field at the top of your homepage, then click the "People" tab on the search results page.

    • 3

Click the user's avatar to go to his or her profile page.

    • 4

Click the "View full profile" link. The bio is located directly under the username on a profile page.
