How to Set Outlook to Send Email Only Every 30 Minutes
If you are online, Microsoft's Outlook email software automatically sends your outgoing mail by default, as soon as you click the "Send" button. If you would prefer your mail to only be sent at 30-minute intervals, you can change this default configuration within Outlook's advanced settings.

Click Outlook's "File" menu, then click on "Options."

Click the "Advanced" item on the menu within the "Outlook Options" dialog box.

Scroll down the right-hand pane to the "Send and receive" section.

Uncheck the box labeled "Send immediately when connected."

Click the "Send/Receive" button to the right of the menu to check the send interval.

Ensure the "Schedule an automatic send/receive every" option is set to 30 minutes.

Click "Close" then "OK" to close the options menus and return to the main Outlook screen.

Tips & Warnings
Within the "Send/receive settings" menu, you can also choose whether you wish for your messages to automatically be sent when you exit the Outlook program.
