How to Put Words in Paint
Paint is a basic graphic artwork program that comes with Microsoft Windows. The program allows basic pieces of artwork to be created with a simple set of tools. Open Paint on your computer by navigating to the ''Start'' button, hovering over ''All Programs'' with the mouse, selecting ''Accessories,'' then left-clicking on Paint. A blank canvas will open.

Click on the ''Text'' tool with the left mouse button. This tool can be found to the left-hand side of the canvas. Left-click on the canvas at the point at which you want to add text. Still holding the left mouse button down, drag the box created to the appropriate size. Release the left mouse button. Text can then be added into the box.

Edit the text using the ''Fonts'' toolbox that appears when you click on the text box. The type of font and the size of the font can be altered here. The color of the font can be changed by highlighting the text and selecting a color from below the canvas. Text can be highlighted by left-clicking, holding down the mouse button and dragging over the text.
