Directions for Expandable Drop-ins
It's 3 a.m. Your baby is screaming from hunger. You stumble to the kitchen and pull out your baby's Playtex Nurser Holder and Playtex expandable Drop-Ins liner, only to be confused about which measurements to use when preparing the formula. You filled the liner to the six ounce mark with water, but when you placed the liner in the Nurser Holder, the measurement on the Nurser Holder read seven ounces. Now you don't know how much powdered formula to add to the liner because you aren't sure which measurement is correct . The expandable liners can be a bit tricky, but there is a way to get accurate measurements.
Things You'll Need
- Expandable Drop-In liner
- Nurser Holder
- Water
- Powdered infant formula
- Spoon
- Bottle nipple
- Screw ring

Pour the water directly into the expandable Drop-Ins liner and use the measurements located directly on the liner.

Place the filled liner in the Nurser Holder.

Add the appropriate amount of powdered formula to the liner. For example, if you filled the expandable liner with six ounces of water, you would add three scoops of formula for most formulas. Check your formula's directions for accuracy.

Mix the formula by stirring with a spoon.

Screw the nipple onto the Nurser Holder and you're ready to feed your baby.

Tips & Warnings
It is best to mix the formula by stirring with a spoon. You can shake the bottle after you have screwed the nipple on, but formula tends to clump in the nipple.
