A television is an important part of many homes, and an appliance such as this does not come cheaply. This makes it important to properly clean and care for your TV in a way that removes all residue and buildup without harming the television itself. While many older televisions have a glass screen, newer televisions have more delicate surfaces. - Lint-free microfiber cloth
- Screen-cleaning spray
- Screen-cleaning wipes (optional)

Turn off the TV.

Dust the television regularly with a lint-free microfiber cloth. This removes loose dust and buildup from the screen.

Mist a screen-cleaning spray onto the edge of the microfiber cloth. This spray can be found at electronics stores and most supermarkets.

Wipe the cloth gently over the television screen, rubbing in long side-to-side motions.

Let the television air dry before turning it back on.

Tips & Warnings
Alternately, use screen-cleaning wipes instead of the screen-cleaning spray. The wipes are pre-moistened and again can be wiped over any type of television screen. Let the television air dry before turning it back on.
