Keep your apps organized with folders.

The seemingly endless number of apps available for iPhone users makes it difficult to keep your home screen neat and tidy. Thankfully, the iPhone 3G and all newer models offer the ability to create folders for those apps. This feature makes organizing and navigating your iPhone home screen a snap. One of the best parts about this feature is that you can do all the organizing right from your iPhone. There's no need to connect to iTunes.

Instructions

    • 1

Tap any icon on your home screen and hold your finger in place until the icons start to wobble.

    • 2

Drag the icons to the desired location on your home screen.

    • 3

Drag and drop an icon directly on top of another icon to create a folder. The folder will automatically receive a name. Rename it by tapping the name at the top of the screen when the folder is open and entering a new name when prompted.

    • 4

Store up to 12 apps in each folder to keep your iPhone applications organized.

    • 5

Press the Home key to stop the wobbling.
