How to Turn off the High-Priority Beep in Outlook

When you send an email, you can choose to mark the email as "high priority." This system was developed to help notify the mail recipient of the message's importance. Unfortunately, many people start to abuse the high-priority flag and mark a lot of unimportant messages as important. If this is true for many of the emails you receive, then you will find yourself annoyed when Outlook issues its high priority notification. If you have previously set up a high priority rule, then you will have to delete that rule so that no sound file plays.
