How to Find a Twitter Profile
Once you have signed up for an account on Twitter, you will want to build your list of followers and those you follow. To help enhance your experience, Twitter has provided a few different ways for to find the profiles of people you want to follow, whether you are looking for a specific person by their real name or Twitter username, looking for other users with common interests or searching for friends whose email addresses are stored in your Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL contact lists.

Sign in to your Twitter account and click the "Find People" link at the top of your profile page. Alternatively, if you are already signed in, navigate to https://twitter.com/invitations/.

Enter your Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL email address and password into the indicated fields and click the "Find Friends" button to generate a list of Twitter profiles belonging to contacts saved in your email account.

Click the "Suggestions for You" tab to see a list of profiles belonging to users you might enjoy following and interacting with, based on your account activity and profile information.

Click the "Browse Interests" tab to see a list of topics. Click on a topic to generate a list of users who are associated with or interested in that topic.

Click the "Find on Twitter" tab if you want to search for a specific person, organization, or entity by username or real name. Enter the name in the blank provided, then click the "Search" button.
