How to Find My Firefox Bookmarks

Version 4 of Mozilla Firefox offers a more streamlined appearance than its predecessors, so you can view more website information on a single screen. Firefox achieves this sleek design by moving the tab bar and hiding many other toolbars, such as the menu bar. This menu bar houses the "Bookmarks" option for locating your favorite websites. Since the menu is hidden, finding your bookmarks can be confusing. However, there are three ways to find your bookmarks, which require only a few simple key combinations.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the "Alt" key to expose the hidden menu bar. Click "Bookmarks" in the top menu bar to see your list of bookmarks, just as appeared in earlier Firefox versions. Alternatively, you can hold the "Alt" key and press "B" to open the "Bookmarks" menu.

    • 2

Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "B" to open the "Bookmarks" sidebar on the left side of the browser window.

    • 3

Hold the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys, and press "B" to open the "Bookmarks" tab of the Firefox Library. This secondary window offers advanced options, such as importing and exporting.
