      Pour 1/2 cup of bleach down your drain opening and let sit for about 15 minutes.

      Pour 2 qts. of boiling water down the drain to rinse away the residue.

      Don eye protection and plunge the drain with about 10 powerful up-and-down plunges to break up any leftover residue. Flush the drain with hot water and see if water is draining properly.
