How to Find Things on DealExtreme

DealExtreme is an Internet retail site known for selling a wide variety of items at discounted prices. When you load the main DealExtreme website you may feel overwhelmed by the sheer selection of products on the site. Don't worry -- if you're looking for one item in particular or a category of items, there are a number of different ways you can narrow down the selections to the things you're actually looking for.

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser and visit the DealExtreme home page (see References).

2. Narrow down your search to a particular category by selecting the name of the category from the left side of the screen. For example, if you only want to see what computer accessories are listed on DealExtreme you can click "Computers." Narrow down your search further by selecting the type of product you are looking for. If you're looking for a new hard disk drive, select "HDD & Enclosures."

3. Return to the main DealExtreme home page and narrow your search down by searching only for specific keywords. Click inside the "Search" box and type the keyword you are looking for. For example, if you were looking for an iPod charger on DealExtreme you would type "iPod charger." Click "Search" to view a listing of the products that match the terms you entered.
