How to Tell if a Website Is Found by Google
It takes time for Google to locate new websites and add them to its index. Because much of the traffic that websites receive comes from search engines such as Google, it's a good idea to find out whether Google has found your website yet. Google allows any person to view all of the pages on a website that have been added to its index, and you can use this feature to confirm that Google has located and begun to crawl your website.

Tips & Warnings
When setting your website up, you can redirect all requests for "www.mydomain.com" to "mydomain.com." This is particularly common with the free blog engine WordPress. If you see "mydomain.com" rather than "www.mydomain.com" at the top of your browser window when you view your website, type the address of the website the same way when you use the "site:" operator in Google.
Google must be aware of a website in order to add it to its index. To help Google locate your website, add it to Google Webmaster Tools or ask the owner of another website to link to your site.
