How to Make Out a Voided Check

1. Write "VOID" across the check in large letters.

2. Write "VOID" in the signature line, in the area where you enter the check amount, and across the back of the check.

3. Rip the check in half if you are not using it for a specific purpose like ordering checks or setting up direct deposit.
