The Easiest Way to Transport Live Mature Chickens thumbnail
Interstate transfers of live poultry require shipping permits and health certificates.

Mature chickens can be transported from one location to another without a lot of effort. The birds need plenty of oxygen and space during transport to ensure they don't suffocate. If you're transporting the chickens during hot weather, the chickens need to be kept cool to avoid overheating. Always consider the needs of the chickens before transporting them, to minimize stress. The container used should keep the chickens safe and keep the transport vehicle free of droppings.
