Once downloaded and installed, it is a simple and straightforward process to add iPhoto pictures to Picasa, a free photo editing and sharing software from Google. Picasa 3.8 works with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. The Picasa Web Albums Uploader allows a Mac user to use Picasa.

Instructions

      Click "iPhoto" to open the program.

      Click the photo or album you want to upload to Picasa.

      Click "Share" at the top of the screen, and click "Export" from the drop-down menu. The Export Photos dialog box appears. Click "Picasa Web" in the dialog box.

      Type a title and a description in those fields. Click the radio button next to "Public Album" or "Unlisted Album" to list or not list the album.

      Click the "Export" button to upload the photos to Picasa.
