How Do I Download Email From Yahoo! to Outlook?
Yahoo! Mail is one of several online mail providers that can be accessed from anywhere that has Internet access. However, you might prefer to use the email client Microsoft Outlook. If this is the case, you can configure Outlook to download your Yahoo! Email messages into your Outlook inbox. You can also set up Outlook to send mail from your Yahoo! account.

Click "File," and click on "Add Account" from the Info tab.

Select the "Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types" option and click "Next."

Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next."

Enter your name in the "Your Name" field as you want it to appear on outgoing emails.

Enter your Yahoo! email address in the "Email Address" field.

Select "POP3" from the Account Type drop-down menu.

Enter "pop.mail.yahoo.com" in the Incoming mail server field.

Enter "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" in the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" field.

Enter your Yahoo! user name in the User Name field.

Enter the password for your Yahoo! account in the Password field.

Check the "Remember Password" box if you do not want to enter your password every time you use Outlook to check your Yahoo! email. This is less secure, but if your computer is already password-protected, this may be an unnecessary security measure.

Click on "More Settings..." and click on the "Outgoing Server" tab.

Check the box for "My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication" and select the "Use Same Settings as My Incoming Mail Server" option.

Click the "Advanced" tab.

Enter "995" in the Incoming Server (POP3) field and enter "587" in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) field.

Check the "This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection (SSL)" box.

Check the "Leave a Copy of Messages on the Server" if you want your email to still be accessible online. If you do not check this box, your messages will be deleted from the Yahoo! email server after they are downloaded to Outlook.

Click "OK," and then click "Next" to finish the set-up process. Outlook will automatically check your settings.

Click "Finish" after Outlook successfully tests your setup.
