How to Remove an Adhesive Price Tag

Remove adhesive price tags with paper towels and vinegar.

Many price tags are attached with adhesive, sticking to hard surfaces without requirement of a tag that hangs off the product. These tags can be found on anything from plastic containers to children's toys. To remove the stickers you must use something that safely removes the price tag plus the adhesive without harming the underlying surface.

Things You'll Need

• Vinegar
• Paper towels

Instructions

1. Drench a paper towel with white vinegar.

2. Fold the paper towel so it's just a bit larger than the sticker on all sides, and press firmly over the sticker.

3. Leave the paper towel in place for about 10 minutes.

4. Remove the paper towel and peel away the sticker. Rub the wet paper towel over the area to remove any leftover sticky residue, and allow to air-dry.
