How to Sleep With a Tampon
Tampons are a product you can use for menstruation that can give you a little more freedom than other products like pads. Tampons allow you to be able to swim or wear certain clothes that pads will not allow, however they take some considerations to ensure you are using them safely.

Take note of how often you have had to switch out your tampon that day. One tampon can be worn for up to eight hours: But if your flow is heavy, you will need to change it sooner, such as every four hours.

Insert a new tampon in right before going to bed.

Set the alarm clock to wake you, when it`s time to change your tampon.

Always change before the eight hour mark. Wearing longer than this can increase the chances of leaks, as well as toxic shock syndrome.

Tips & Warnings
If you begin to get flu-like symptoms such as vomiting, fever, diarrhea or chills; remove the tampon immediately and seek medical attention. These symptoms paired with tampon use can be signs of toxic shock syndrome, which is a serious bacterial infection.
