How to Add a Menu Bar to Internet Explorer 8

When you launch Internet Explorer 8, you may find that the Menu Bar is missing from the top of the toolbar on your browser. If it is missing, it is likely turned off. Turning off the Menu Bar maximizes your browser's screen space; however, you can add it back to your browser if you need to use some of its components. You can add the Menu Bar back to your browser temporarily or permanently, depending on your preference.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button and click "Internet Explorer" to launch your browser.

2. Press the "Alt" button if you want to display the Menu Bar temporarily.

3. Click the "Tools" button if you want to display the Menu Bar permanently. Point to "Toolbars" and then click "Menu Bar" to display the Menu Bar.
