How to Use Espresso Pods
Making espresso used to mean measuring out precise ratios of coffee and water, grinding coffee to just the right degree of coarseness and operating a notoriously temperamental machine. Espresso pods --- pre-portioned, pre-ground, and pre-measured single-use espresso packets --- make the process of brewing espresso quick and easy, and they come in several roast styles. Check your espresso machine or its manual to find out if it is compatible with pods; if so, it will be identified as an Easy Serving Espresso machine, often with a circular E.S.E. logo.

Twist the handle on the espresso filter holder to the left or right, depending on your machine, to remove the filter holder.

Place an espresso pod of your choice in the filter holder.

Reattach the filter holder to the espresso machine and fill the water chamber.

Turn on the espresso machine on and brew an espresso.

Tips & Warnings
The espresso will be very hot after being brewed. Be careful not to drop or spill it.
