How to Block Someone's Email in Hotmail

Windows Live Hotmail is a free web-based email service that features unlimited storage capabilities, HTML support and it integrates with Windows Live Messenger. It also offers security features for protecting against unauthorized access or spam emails. In addition, you can block email from senders you don't wish to receive email.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Hotmail account with your username and password.

2. Click "Options," "More Options" then "Junk Email."

3. Click "Safe and Blocked Senders" then click "Blocked Senders."

4. Type the email address you wish to block in the "Email" field and click "Add." You have now blocked someone's email in Hotmail.

Tips & Warnings

• The email being blocked will not be aware that they are being blocked because their emails will go through but it will be automatically sent to the "Junk" or "Deleted" files. They will have to install third-party software to check whether they are being blocked.
