Directions for a Little Green Clean Machine by Bissell
Bissell's Little Green machine lives up to its "green" name, using parts made from 50 percent recycled plastic and packaged in a carton made from 75 percent recycled materials. Little Green attacks spills by spraying cleaning solution, scrubbing with the "Tough Stain Brush" and suctioning the dirty water, leaving a clean, dry surface. It may be little, but its suction rivals larger machines. The compact design combined with a 15-foot power cord enables you to clean those hard-to-reach places like car seats, stairs and upholstery. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lift the "Clean/Solution" tank up and then away from the machine. With the tank upside down, unscrew the cap and remove the bottle insert. Pour cleaning formula into the tank, up to the "Formula Fill" line. Pour hot tap water up to the "Water Fill" line. Replace the bottle insert and tighten the cap. Return the tank to the machine.
-
2
Turn the vacuum flex hose bracket latch clockwise. Unwrap the hose.
-
-
3
Push the "Tough Stain Brush" tool into the spray trigger until the button lock clicks into the hole.
-
4
Unwrap the entire power cord by twisting the "quick release" wrap clockwise. Plug the cord into a grounded outlet. Turn the machine on, using the power switch.
-
5
Press the spray trigger on top of the tool to spray cleaning solution on the area. Hover the tool about 1 inch above the spot when spraying.
-
6
Scrub the soiled area with the brush. You may need to spray more solution while brushing.
-
7
Remove the dirt and cleaning solution with suction by pressing the brush down on the soiled surface and pulling it toward you. You may continue spraying solution during suctioning.
-
8
Dry the area by continuing the suctioning strokes without pressing the spray trigger.
-
9
Clean the hose before turning off the machine. Vacuum up clean water and lift the brush up to drain the water into the dirty/collection tank.
-
10
Unplug the machine and remove the "Dirty/Collection" tank by lifting the "Tank Release Latch." Drain, rinse and replace the tank after every use and during a big job when you notice dirty water approaching the maximum fill line.
-
11
Clean the brush by disconnecting it from the spray trigger and rinsing it under running water.
