How to Get Free Gags in "Toontown"
"Toontown" is an Internet video game where players can compete with others around the world in the fictional universe of Toontown to defeat evil gangster robots with special tricks that are called "gags." A gag is the weapon of choice for toons in Toontown, so having some good gags is a pivotal aspect of playing the game. Though you have to purchase most gags with special currency that you can obtain in the game, there are some ways that you can obtain free gags.

Begin the game. When you start "Toontown," you are given two gags for free. You can use these gags throughout the game, but getting additional and more powerful gags is suggested.

Play the "Cog Melee" challenge once you have purchased four gags in addition to your current two. Win this level by defeating all of the Cogs within six minutes to get a free gag.

Defeat the "Bulky" cog in the level "Cogs and Levers." This mission becomes available once you are at level 20. Defeating the Bulky cog will reward you with a new special gag, the rubber chicken.

Defeat the "Old Stale" cog with the rubber chicken during the "Raid on Toontown" challenge. This will award you the free "mini-mallet" gag.
