Instructions

    • 1

Cut eight pieces of duct tape -- each piece should be about 9 inches long. Tear off the pieces with your hands or cut with scissors.

    • 2

Tape together two pieces of duct tape by setting one strip down, sticky side up. Place another strip of tape sticky side up onto the first strip so that it overlaps about one-third of the original strip. Continue overlapping pieces of tape until the sheet is 1 inch wider than a dollar bill. Keep the sheet sticky side up.

    • 3

Overlap all the sticky portions of the sheet with more duct tape, sticky side down. Fully cover both sides with tape, leaving no sticky parts peeping out. Use a ruler and scissors to measure and trim the sheet so that it is 4-by-9 inches.

    • 4

Seal the edges of the sheet by running a piece of tape down each of the four sides. Use different colored tape to show contrast.

    • 5

Repeat steps 1 to 5 to create another duct tape sheet. Trim the sheet so that it is 3-by-9 inches. Use this new sheet as a wallet pocket.

    • 6

Place the smaller pocket sheet on top of the larger sheet, aligning the bottom, left and right edges. Tape together the bottom edges. Do the same for the left side and right side. The sheet now has a wallet pocket.

    • 7

Add stickers or use markers to personalize your wallet. Tape over your finished wallet with different colors of duct tape to add pops of color.

    • 8

Fold the sheet in half horizontally to create a crease. Put money or cards in your wallet.
