How to Use Crest Advanced Seal Whitestrips
Crest Advanced Seal Whitestrips are an over-the-counter consumer product designed to remove stains from teeth. Renamed Crest 3D White Whitestrips Advanced Vivid, each package contains strips with a peroxide gel that are placed on the teeth for a set period of time each day. While Crest makes a variety of Whitestrips products, the Advanced Vivid strips more closely adhere to teeth and are easier to remove. Open the Whitestrips package and remove a foil pouch. Confirm you use a strip marked "upper" for your "upper" teeth and "lower" for your lower teeth. The strips are shaped differently according to the whether they are designed for upper or lower teeth, and are not interchangeable. Do not brush your teeth before applying the strips for best results.

Remove the "upper" strip from the pouch and peel off the strip backing.

Align the strip with your gum line. Press the gel side of the strip against your teeth.

Fold the strip behind your teeth.

Repeat the above steps with the strip marked "lower."

Remove the strips after 30 minutes and discard.

Brush your teeth if trace elements of gel remain.

Repeat steps 1 through 7 once a day for 14 days. To speed up the whitening process, place the strips on twice a day for seven days. Do not apply strips more than twice a day.

Tips & Warnings
Do not leave strips on for longer than 30 minutes. Prolonged application can result in tooth sensitivity and gum discomfort.
