How to Paint Stamps
Wall paint stamps are made of foam and they allow you to create designs on your wall by imprinting specific shapes or figures using paint. The stamps are generally used after applying a base coat of paint first. You can buy paint stamps in the shape or design of your choice or make your own by cutting your desired design out of a piece of foam. Things You'll Need
- Painter's tape and/or plastic
- Foam paint roller
- Acrylic or water-based wall paint
- Foam wall paint stamps

Tape or cover any surfaces that you do not want inadvertently painted.

Pour the paint onto your paper plate. Do not mix paint colors on the paper plate unless you are trying to use them to create a new color.

Use your foam roller to apply paint to the surface of the stamp. Evenly cover the surface. You may apply different colors of paint to the stamp but use a different foam roller for each color.

Press the stamp evenly against the wall. Be careful not to let your hand slide as you press on the stamp. If you make a mistake, wipe it off with a wet towel.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have achieved the desired appearance. Allow the paint to dry overnight.
