How to Face Frontier Brains in "Platinum"

Originally introduced in "Pokemon Emerald," the Battle Frontier returned in "Pokemon Platinum," along with brand new facilities and a brand new cast of Frontier Brains. A player who defeated a Frontier Brain earned a large number of Battle Points that could be exchanged for useful hold items, medicine, and TMs at the Battle Shop. Frontier Brains packed powerful and well-rounded teams of Pokemon that put the player's strategic ability to the test.

Instructions

1. Defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion. Spot every Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex to obtain the National Pokedex.

2. Fly to Snowpoint City and take the ferry to reach the fight area. Defeat Flint and Volkner and go through the newly opened entrance to reach the Battle Frontier.

3. Pick your strongest Pokemon and enter the battle facility of your choice. Defeat the regular trainers in sets of seven without losing. A Frontier Brain will appear to challenge you each team you consecutively defeat three sets of seven trainers.

Tips & Warnings

• Use Pokemon with wide type coverage and powerful hold items such as the Choice Band and Choice Specs in the trainer fights.
