How to Change Your Default Email Program on Your Mac
Every Mac comes with the free Mail application for checking, composing and sending email. However, you might prefer to use a different email application. When you visit a website and click a link to send a message to the site administrator, it might automatically open a new email message with a preformatted subject and recipient. If you want to use an application other than Mail, you can easily change your default email program on the Mac.
