How to Make Prayer Request Bookmarks
If you are looking for a creative project that will help your children learn how to pray, then consider leading them in a prayer bookmark craft project. These bookmarks are easy and creative, and they also utilize the craft-supply stash you already have. Conclude the craft by asking your children if they would like to pray for the people or issues they have written on their bookmarks.
Instructions

1
Cut vertical strips of card stock using your scissors. You can make your bookmark as wide or as narrow as you wish.
-
2
Punch a hole in the top middle of the bookmark.
-
-
3
Write "Prayer Requests" over the top of the bookmark using a paint pen. You will want to write your heading just below the punched hole.
-
4
Decorate your bookmark with paint pens and markers. Add a border or draw hearts and swirls. Be creative.
-
5
Draw lines across the horizontal width of the bookmark using a paint pen. This is where you will write your prayer requests.
-
6
Use a pencil to write prayer requests on the lines. You can erase them once or if the prayer is answered and replace them with new prayer requests.
-
7
Cut a six-inch length of ribbon. Slip it through the hole at the top of the bookmark until both ends are even. Tie a double knot.
