How to Replace the Soap Dispenser on a Sears Dishwasher
Kenmore is the brand of appliances owned and sold exclusively by Sears. Although Sears owns the brand, Kenmore appliances are manufactured by several competing companies, including Whirlpool, General Electric and Panasonic. Sears' Kenmore dishwashers have a soap dispenser built directly into the door that opens at the correct time during the cycle, ensuring that the soap is dispensed at the correct time during the wash cycle. If the dispenser malfunctions, the soap will be dispensed at the incorrect time, or will not dispense at all. In this instance, you must remove the old dispenser and install a new one.
