How to Install a Battery for Palm Pilot

The Palm Pilot, a small PDA device, can run on two AAA-sized batteries. Changing the batteries in a Palm Pilot is a simple and straightforward process.

Things You'll Need

• 2 AAA batteries

Instructions

1. Turn the Palm Pilot over so the back is facing toward you.

2. Notice a small battery door near the bottom edge of the device.

3. Press on the thumb recess on the battery door and slide it toward the right side of the Palm Pilot. Set the door aside.

4. Look in the battery compartment. The battery compartment fits two AAA batteries. There is a diagram printed inside that shows the correct orientation of the batteries.

5. Slip the batteries into the battery compartment according to the orientation on the diagram. The clips in the battery compartment hold them in place.

6. Slide the battery door back on until it clicks and the edge of the door is flush with the side of the device.
