How to Add a Logo to Your YouTube Channel Page

YouTube allows video creators to share their creations with the world. Members of the YouTube Partners program can do more than that, creating a branded channel that features their logo and other customizations. Logos appear in a banner at the top of the main channel page, with the banner being an 875px by 150px image that's no bigger than 256k and saved as a JPEG, GIF or PNG. Logos can also be added to individual video pages in the form of a 55px by 55px icon that appears under your user ID on every video page connected to your channel.

Tips & Warnings

  • When uploading a logo banner, you can provide a link that the banner will connect to when clicked. If you have an image map created for your banner you can have different parts of the banner image to correspond with different websites or links.

  • If you don't have a YouTube Partners account, you can't add a logo banner to your channel. If you have a background image uploaded to your channel, however, you can place a logo on it.
