How to Cancel a Domain Name
A domain name is needed for anyone who wishes to create a website for others to visit. A domain name, such as MyWebsite.com, is the Internet address that directs visitors to a website. Every domain name is unique and site specific and the owner must purchase the name from a provider before it becomes active. Many website hosting providers also offer domain registration with website packages and users can select the unique domain name for their sites upon registration. Canceling a domain name can sometimes become unexpectedly necessary if the domain name legally conflicts with an existing domain name or if the website owner decides to remove his website from the Internet completely.
