How to Get FTP on "Full Tilt"
Full Tilt Poker is an online poker room that launched in 2004. There are two versions of the Full Tilt Poker software --- one from FullTiltPoker.net and one from FullTiltPoker.com. The .com version allows players to deposit and play for real money, whereas the .net version allows only play money. Players who play for real money can earn FTPs (Full Tilt Points) by playing in any raked poker game. A raked game means that Full Tilt Poker receives a commission from either a tournament entry fee or from a pot in a cash game. Players earn 10 Full Tilt points for each raked dollar they contribute.

Go to the Full Tilt Poker website and click on either "Download," "Play Now" or "Download the game now" to download the software (see Resources).

Open the software and create an account by providing a username and personal information such as your physical address and email address.

Deposit money into your account by clicking the the red "Cashier" button and clicking "Deposit." You will be given a list of possible ways to deposit, including credit card and e-check.

Browse through the various game selections to find a game you want to participate in. Full Tilt Poker offers a variety of cash games and tournaments in versions such as Texas Hold 'Em and Omaha and Stud.

Play in your selected game. If it is a tournament, you will earn Full Tilt Points based on the entry fee. For example, signing up for a tournament with a $2 entry fee would result in earning 20 Full Tilt Points. If it is a cash game, you will earn Full Tilt Points by competing against other players. The amount of Full Tilt Points you earn depends on how long you play and how much rake is generated.

Tips & Warnings
Use earned Full Tilt Points at the Full Tilt Poker store, which is found by clicking the red "Cashier" button and then clicking "Full Tilt Store." Example items from the Full Tilt Store include televisions, clothing and poker books.
As of 2010, players from Washington state are banned from playing for real money on FullTiltPoker.com.
