How to Attach a Gift Card to the Inside of a Greeting Card

Surprise somebody with a gift card inside a greeting card.

Attaching a gift card to a greeting card adds a personalized and thoughtful touch. However, securely attaching it is important so it doesn't wriggle around inside the envelope. Fortunately, there is a simple and practical solution to this little problem.

Instructions

1. Open the greeting card and decide where you want to position the message and the gift card.

2. Write your message inside the card.

3. Attach pieces of double-sided tape where you want to place the gift card.

4. Put the gift card on top of the double-sided tape area. Press it down firmly with your fingers to ensure that it is stuck.

Tips & Warnings

• Instead of double-sided tape, fold a piece of sticky tape back on itself to attach the gift card.

• Don't worry if the gift card becomes loose -- the recipient will be happy to receive an extra gift regardless.
