Instructions

  1. Metal Skewers

    • 1

Preheat the grill to low or medium-low heat. Slide a piece of firm meat, such as beef, pork or chicken onto the skewer first to ensure other vegetables don't fall.

    • 2

Layer vegetables and meat after each other, make sure all items are the same size. Place a clove of garlic at the end of each skewer.

    • 3

Shake the skewer and make sure that all of the items don't spin and are firmly next to each other. Place the skewer on the grill and leave until meat and vegetables are cooked as desired. Turn the skewer on the other side once and leave until done.

    • 4

Remove the skewer from the grill.

    Wood Skewers

    • 5

Soak the skewers in water or your liquid of choice for 30 to 45 minutes.

    • 6

Preheat the grill to low heat. Place a piece of light meat, such as shrimp, fish and lamb onto the skewer. Gently hold the piece of meat as you slide on the next item. Use two skewers for bigger items or butterfly style meats. Place a clove of garlic at the end of each skewer.

    • 7

Place the skewer on the grill and let cook until the desired time. Slowly turn the skewer over and cook on the other side. Use a spatula to slowly lift the items from the grill if they stick. Remove from the grill when done cooking.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use flat metal skewers to prevent big items from falling off.
