Meditating with music

Meditation doesn't need to be a chore. With Holosync's advanced neuro-audio technology, the process becomes as easy as listening to music--ideal for the beginning meditator. Through a series of audio tones masked by ambient music, Holosync communicates with the listener's nervous system and balances the brain hemispheres. You can achieve many benefits from the system, including improved mental/emotional health, accelerated learning ability, enhanced creativity and a deeper spiritual connection.

Things You'll Need

  • Holosync CDs (The Dive and Immersion)
  • CD player

Instructions

    • 1

Sit in a comfortable seated position. Put stereo headphones on, press play on your CD player and close your eyes. You must listen wearing stereo headphones due to the soundtrack's stereo effect.

    • 2

Listen to the soundtrack and let your mind do what it wants. There's no need to concern yourself with stilling the mind to achieve the brain wave patterns of meditation because the Holosync technology does it for you.

    • 3

At the end of the soundtrack, turn off your machine and sit quietly for three to five minutes or longer. This process allows the mind to go through a release process.

Tips & Warnings

  • Listen to The Dive soundtrack (30 minutes) once per day for the first two weeks of your Holosync routine. After two weeks, continue listening to The Dive and follow it immediately with Immersion (30 minutes). After four weeks, you can lengthen your meditation to 1.5 hours by listening to the Immersion soundtrack twice in a row.

  • It is best to listen to Holosync every day. If you can only do five times a week or every other day you will reap benefits as well.

  • Listening to compressed formats such as MP3 are not recommended because compression can diminish the effectiveness of the technology. You can copy your Holosync soundtracks to your listening device in the following formats: WAV, AIFF, FLAC, APE or SHN.

  • Don't listen to your soundtracks for extended periods, such as overnight, because it can stress your brain and kick up too much unconscious material for the brain to properly process.
