Instructions

    • 1

Mix the catalyst into the fiberglass resin and mix it up with the mixing stick supplied with the kit. Place the fiberglass sheet into the resin and soak it.

    • 2

Place the fiberglass sheet over the crack in the shower surround and flatten it out by running a fiberglass roller over the surface. This will squeeze out extra fiberglass resin. Wipe up the resin with a wet rag. Allow time for the fiberglass to dry. Follow the drying times listed on the kit's packaging, as the times will vary depending on the kit you purchase. Generally, 24 hours is adequate.

    • 3

Sand the surface of the fiberglass with an orbital sander. Use the edge of the sander to" feather" the edges of the fiberglass patch flat with the surround. Feathering is the act of blending the edges in place. When finished, the patch should be smooth and blend in with the surround.
