How to Make WAVs Louder
Many casual computer users may not realize that, when playing a .WAV file in Microsoft Windows, the .WAV file actually has its own volume control in addition to the main Windows volume control. This can cause .WAV files to play at a lower volume than any of your other sound files. And that can cause your sound quality to be spotty and uneven. You can adjust the .WAV volume by adding the appropriate control to the Windows Volume Control.
