Use liquid Downy softener to keep your delicates soft.

Liquid Downy is a brand of liquid fabric softener. Fabric softener is available in sheets you add to the dryer cycle or in a liquid form you had to the wash cycle. Fabric softener works in conjunction with your detergent to soften, freshen and provide static control for your laundry. It can be used with clothing, bedding, and towels. Downy fabric softeners come in different scents including April Fresh, Spring lavender, and Sun Blossom. They also offer a scent free option, Clean and Free.

Top-Loading Machine With Softener Dispenser

1. Measure the softener to the fill line outlined in the cap for small, medium, or large loads.

2. Locate your dispenser in the center or side of your washbasin.

3. Add the softener to the dispenser, after you add your detergent to your load. The softener will automatically be released during the rinse cycle.

Top-Loading Machine Without Dispenser

1. Add detergent and start your wash cycle.

2. Measure the correct amount of softener to the fill line outlined in the cap for small, medium, or large loads.

3. Add softener during the rinse cycle.

Front-Loading Machine

1. Locate your automatic softener dispenser.

2. Measure the softener to the fill line outlined in the cap for small, medium, or large loads.

3. Add your detergent and start your wash. The softener will automatically be released during the rinse cycle.
