How to Stop Firefox Download Pop-ups
Mozilla Firefox is a free Internet browser in version 4.0, as of March 2011. The browser offers a good interface for navigating the Web, and its functionality and compatibility is on par with other major browsers, including Internet Explorer and Chrome. If you start a new download in Firefox, you may see a pop-up window asking for your preferred location of the downloaded file, or you may see the "Downloads" window with a list of all current and past downloads. If you prefer, you can easily disable these pop-ups in a few steps.

Tips & Warnings
Another option you may prefer is to allow Firefox to open the "Downloads" window so you can view the download progress, but then automatically close the window once all downloads complete. You can set this option up by checking the box by "Show the Downloads window when downloading a file" and then checking the box below it for "Close it when all downloads are finished."
