How to Delete a BizQuest Account

BizQuest is an online service that lists over 35,000 businesses and franchises for sale as of 2011. With a BizQuest account, you can search through all available business listings, search franchises, value a business or sell your own business. BizQuest allows buyers immediate access to the sale listings and information and resources to guide them through the buying process. On the other hand, the website enables sellers to have a worldwide audience of buyers who are actively seeking acquisition opportunities. You may cancel or delete your BizQuest account at any time, and may do so using a few different methods.

Instructions

Delete Account Online

1. Click on "Contact Us" on the bottom of the BizQuest Web page. A direct link to the "Contact Us" page is located in the Resources section.

2. Fill in the required information on the online form. Required fields are your email address, subject and comments. For the purpose of deleting your account, the subject line might read, "Delete my account" or "Cancel my account." In the comments section, you can type something like "I no longer need my account."

3. Click "Submit" to send your request to BizQuest.

Delete Account by Email

1. Compose a new email in the email service of your choice. The email address that you need to contact to delete your account is "[e-mail]."

2. In the subject field, type something along the lines of "Delete my account" or "Cancel my account."

3. In the body of the email, type your reason for cancellation of your account. Be sure to include the email address that is linked to your BizQuest account, so the company will know which account to cancel.

4. Click "Send" on your email.

Delete Account by Telephone

1. Call BizQuest Client Services by dialing 888-280-3815 on the phone.

2. Tell the representative that you wish to delete your BizQuest account.

3. Give the representative the email address that you are registered with on BizQuest so he can locate your account to delete it.
