On these days putting your bangs up with the help of bobby pins can be a quick method of styling your hair to play up your overall look by temporarily losing the bangs. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
-
Straight Back
-
1
Use a fine-toothed comb to untangle any tangles and to gather your bangs in front of your face. Gather the ends of your bangs in one hand then hold them out horizontally in front of your face.
-
2
Starting at your scalp, run the comb through your bangs slowly and pull them up and straight back over your head as you are doing so.
-
-
3
Run the comb through your bangs a few more times combing them straight back to smooth out any bumps. Then twist the ends of your bangs together and use a bobby pin to clip the twisted area to the top of your head.
-
4
Take another bobby pin and criss-cross it with the first one, getting the twist inside the pin and further securing the twisted area to the top of your head.
-
5
Spritz your pinned bangs with three or four sprays of medium-hold hairspray, and let hairspray dry for a minute.
To The Side
-
6
Gather hair in front of your face using a fine-toothed comb and comb out any tangles or kinks in the hair.
-
7
Place the teeth of your fine-toothed comb where your bangs start on the left side of your face and begin combing downward and toward the right side of your face. You can also opt to start on the right side and comb bangs towards the left if you prefer.
-
8
Continue pulling the comb through your bangs working them toward the right side of your face. Gather the ends and twist them together then pin the twist to the side of your head just below your right temple and above your ear with a bobby pin.

Tips & Warnings
Once your bangs are pinned you can very lightly backcomb them with your fine-toothed comb to give them a bit of a tousled look.
For the sideswept look you can opt to pin them to the side tightly, or let the swept strands hang just slightly over your face by combing it down and towards your face very lightly after pinning.
